Osteria Morini

Mike & I kept up our bi-weekly dinner date tradition with dinner at Osteria Morini last Thursday night.

Our waiter was so sweet and really attentive, and he seemed to really love his job, which is always nice to see.  He happily offered up his opinions and preferences on everything down to the wine, and it turns out we all had very similar taste.

The bread, meat & cheese plate was insane.  Massive and delicious.  I could have been done for the night right then and there.

Next they brought us two pasta dishes… one being compliments of the chef.  So nice.  We ordered the Gramigna which consisted of macaroni, pork sausage, tomato, cream & black pepper and although I’m normally not a big fan of meat sauces, this was delicious.  The chef sent out the Cappelletti, a truffled ricotta ravioli, which was also amazing.

Next was the fish dish, the Branzino…  a grilled Mediterranean sea bass.  Again, not a disappointment.  Obviously we were too full for dessert, but I can’t wait to go back.
