Sweet Lemon

When life hands you lemons…

Just in time for Small Business Saturday, I am encouraging everyone to “shop small” and read my feature in Sweet Lemon Magazine’s 7th issue, Leading Ladies: A New Class.  Peruse the digital issue, or skip straight to page 92 in order to learn all about some of the smartest and most creative entreprenuers out there.  Each one of these inspiring young women launched their own small businesses from scratch, and business is booming.

Now I encourage everyone to purchase something from one – if not all – of these amazing brands.  Christmas is just around the corner and there is something for just about everybody on your list…  custom paper products, home furnishings, savory treats, dresses and accessories in just about every color of the rainbow.  These girls are such an inspiration to young people everywhere – and I am rooting for them.

This has to be my favorite “definition” of all time – considering I am legitimately obsessed with all of the above.

I am so honored and so excited to have had the opportunity to contribute to such a wonderful publication that supports and empowers young women in their twenties.

I am thrilled to be sharing more from my interviews with Ashley Brooke Designs, Dana’s Bakery, Society Social, K.slademade & Sail to Sable in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, check out some of my favorite pieces from these amazing women below.

1. Ashley Brooke Designs “Festive Girl” cards  |  2. Dana’s Bakery “Birthday Cake” macaron (my favorite!)

3. K.slademade “Brooklyn Foldover Clutch” in pale pink (own it – love it)

4. Tempting rack of Sail to Sable tunics & dresses  |  5. Society Social “Madison Mixer” bar cart
