Lee Lee’s Hot Kitchen

If there’s one thing Charleston is missing, it’s good sushi, Italian, and Chinese food. I’m talking good, cheap, authentic Chinese food. Sesame and king pao chicken, fried rice, dumplings, spring rolls… there is a serious void here.

Enter Lee Lee’s Hot Kitchen. It’s the closest thing to authentic and edible Chinese cuisine in Charleston–although not a single Chinese person works there which baffled me–at a slightly higher cost. It’s a small space and they don’t accept reservations, but the wait on a Saturday night was no longer than twenty minutes + they offer takeout!
