Boutique of the Week: {satchel.}

“We make leather goods. That’s right. A couple of girls, a few industrial sewing machines, and a usually messy workshop in the back of our cute boutique.”

On a recent day trip down to Savannah, I managed to squeeze in a quick–yet necessary–visit to Satchel., a sweet little boutiqe where I wound up finding a keychain to replace the raggedy one I’ve been sporting for 10+ years.

Boutique of the Week: {mac & murphy}

Mac & Murphy is a sweet little stationery and paper boutique in downtown Charleston. Upon stepping into the white and airy shop, I immediately feel at home. From custom invitations and prints to crafts and ‘just because’ cards, this local gem is a stationery lover’s dream come true.

Boutique of the Week: {Hampden}

“Whether you’re one of our long-time devotees or it’s your first visit, shopping at Hampden is like entering the closet of your most fashionable friend.  Simply put, service is everything to us.”

Hampden, albeit pricey, is arguably the most well-curated clothing boutique in Charleston with designer favorites like Jenni Kayne, Vince, Thakoon, Suno, Carven, Tibi, and more.

Furbish Pop-Up

I’ve been ordering eccentric and whimsical items from Furbish Studio in Raleigh, North Carolina for over two years now (see here). I even looked into applying for a job there when I had originally decided that I’d like to move down South.

All of this being said, receiving an invitation to the Furbish pop-up shop right here in Charleston immediately perked my interest. I picked up a few fabulous finds, but could have done a heck of a lot more damage should my bank account have permitted me to do so, and I think Charleston would be the perfect location for Furbish’s next permanent shop.

Some of my favorite pieces currently in the online shop–some of which I may or may not have purchased at the pop-up:

6. towel  |  7. recipe box  |  8. desk lamp  |  9. candlesticks

Boutique of the Week: {Leif Shop}

“I’ve come to notice that the smallest thing can inspire and enrich your daily life, whether it be a crisp new set of thank you notes, a beautiful mug for coffee or tea, stocking your bathroom with scented soap in a pretty glass bottle, or a colorful vase on display in a most frequented room.  And there you have LEIF – set out to present the most special, beautiful things that add a unique touch to day-to-day living.” – LEIF

I don’t know about you, but I am adding this, this, these and this to my wish list.

Boutique of the Week: {Pree Brulée}

“We are infinitely inspired by both the exotic and contemporary. Here you will find items in a perfect mixture of timeless classic and one-of-a-kind edgy…”

Pree Brulée

Everything from statement necklaces to stationery, Pree Brulée is one of those special boutiques that carries only the most beautiful pieces.  I had a really difficult time narrowing my favorite pieces down, but I hope I was able to do Pree Brulée justice.

Boutique of the Week: {Le Mode Accessories}

“Our obsession is in the details-it is all about finding the perfect finishing touches to really pull that outfit together…”

Le Mode Accessories

I first discovered Le Mode a few weeks ago and I stumbled upon some really great pieces at seriously tempting price points.  They’ve got lots of items that have been featured on Bauble Bar, but plenty of original pieces I’d never seen before.

And like I said, everything on the site is super affordable, so Le Mode is definitely worth checking out.
